Oh hello. Here is another one of those comic strips the whole gang is talking about. Did you know we are up to twenty three fans on the face books? Of course, the face books are the only kind of books that matter in todays post information age economy. The post information age is all about having the infrastructure in place for transmitting all sorts of useful information to better human society, but not actually having useful information and so instead using that very same infrastructure to tell strangers about the shower you just took. Not that I’m complaining, or even trying to say we’re wasting resources here. No news is good news, and the cute thing your cat just did isn’t really news.

Hello everyone! Sorry to have been so terrible about updating these past few weeks. I have been busy hand painting ukeleles for my friend Amanda Palmer’s protégés Evelyn Evelyn. This turned out to be a major undertaking, and it caused me to become quite insane as I spent hour after hour, day after day painting the most beautiful siamese elephants and other decorative elements based off of my new facebook and twitter friend who I’ve never met in person Cynthia von Buhler’s fabulous album art.

Anyhow, today we’re taking a break from the abnormal story line to bring you this rainy day cutout adventure activity for your at home entertainment! Ok here you go! Another installment in the super exciting and aptly titled “Interlude” segment here on Infinity Day Weekend. Things have been pretty busy here at Infinity Day Weekend world headquarters in space. I somehow find myself hand painting a seemingly endless stream of ukeleles for internationally renowned popular music group Evelyn Evelyn as part of their CD release shenanigans. If you haven’t ordered yours yet you may be out of luck as I was just told there will only be a total of 50 (“only”) and there have already been 45 orders.

Today’s Infinity Day Weekend is a guest strip by Adam Fastman, author of Roger Owt! : In Humanity’s Future, which is a web comic you will be delighted by if you enjoy the work of such authors as Warren Ellis, Phillip K. Dick, and Harlan Ellison, and which, unlike this web comic you have somehow found yourself reading, involves a cohesive narrative, finely crafted illustrations, and a novel and intriguing picture story innovation known as “dialogue.”  Adam is also in a wonderful Sci Fi rock band called Music for Terraforming, which you can listen to directly through their web site.  I suggest going to http://www.planet3.us/, loading up a few songs, and then reading all of Roger Owt!

You may also note that this comic features a guest appearance by the Internet’s most famous Lawnmower Blenny, quite possibly the most famous blenny of any kind on the Internet, with at present tally a total of 12 fans on Facebook!

And only now do you see how it all began.  Yes that is right, I am referring to the ancient conflict between dirt people and blood beings.  You see, the dirt people just want to shoot with their gun any person or creature who is in or near their dirt cave.  Is that so hard to understand?  Really, I think we’ve all been a little hard on the dirt people throughout this story line.  Now the blood beings, they were created as sort of a side effect of God’s death, but that’s just our perspective, you could say.  In their own mythology which they may go on to develop, they might imagine that God contrived this very situation into existence  for the very purpose of having an opportunity to bleed all over the inside of the dirt cave, thus creating the blood beings.  Stranger creation mythologies have been proposed.

Hello there the Internet.  I hope you like today’s comic, in which dirt people kill Space Octopus with their gun and offer Space Octopus and Marm’s bloody corpses to their filthy Dirt God.  Lots of laffs for the whole family in this one.

It’s like Space Octopus is having a little bulimi, but he’s just having a little inky.  This one is short because I had to go and watch this crazy film tonight hosted by the List Visual Arts Center at MIT (which I was once a member of the advisory board of) called Luminous Procuress by Steven Arnold.  Made in 1970, I explained it to Liv as being like a film that an alien would make if you forced it to watch Barbarella, A Clockwork Orange, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Debbie Does Dallas, and nothing but these films, and then gave the alien like a thousand dollars to go and make a film that humans would like.

Also then I had to go to Poker Night.  It’s a rough life, let me tell you.

Well gosh look at this, here we are, it has only been a couple of days since the last update, and already here there is an update for to have for you also enjoying the reading of the thing that is being updated now more than even once every week.  And by that, I mean don’t be expecting any sort of pattern to develop here but maybe try checking back on Friday.

Um and also one interesting thing about this new method is that now I have all of this processed dead plant matter stained with various inks.  So, anyone want to buy them?  Seriously.  Make me an offer.

Also, I forgot that I promised the owner of the How to Lose Weight blog that I’d thank him for discovering that this site had been hacked.  Seriously.  Not in an oh my goodness I had better not look at this site anymore or else my computer/my grandmother/I might get computer cancer but in a lame manipulate ranking algorithms by putting bogus invisible links all over the place sort of way.  So, Thank you!

Oh hello everyone. Look, this is what happens in Space, where Space Octopus is from. Well ok I guess this is only a part of Space, which is big. Space is probably the biggest thing you can think of, it has just about everything in it. One thing that space does not have in it, however, is Heaven, which is that place that you go to when you die and you have been a good member of any number of religions.

A couple of things are going on here.  First of all, it has come to be the case that to do any sort of real drawing in Photoshop on my geriatric (i.e. four year old) laptop requires that I spend about half an hour preparing the machine by saving and quitting all other open applications, which is just not a thing I am usually willing to commit to.  So, um, here is a strip done in marker and then scanned in and embellished.

Who is Marm?  Marm is the greatest.  You may know her as “The Great Marm.”

Look about this lack of updates thing:  fuck it.  What ever.  If anyone wants to give me a pile of money to pay my rent with and also like one of those nice Cintiq’s and a computer to hook it up to then I will happily start producing a comic every day, or like four or five a week, but you know what look at this art.  So you just take what you can get.
